After six years as general manager of Chinese e-bike drivetrain giant Bafang in Europe, Jack Brandsen will leave the Wijchen, Netherlands-based company on March 31.
Brandsen joined Bafang Electric Motor Science-Technology B.V. in 2014, where over time he built a strong team of service, sales and administrative specialists. Both the company’s customer base and sales grew significantly during that time. According to Brandsen, he will now look for new challenges within the bicycle industry.
In addition to its European headquarters in the Netherlands, Bafang Electric (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. opened a European factory in 2019, closer to the market in Poland. Bafang Electric (Poland) sp zo.o. is located in Wroclaw.
