Camelbak Products and Osprey Packs settled a patent infringement dispute immediately after the announcement of Camelbak's takeover by Vista Outdoor (see the article in this issue). The dispute goes back to last February, when Camelbak sued Osprey in a federal California court, charging that Osprey had violated its patent on hands-free reservoir hydration systems. The terms of the settlement have been kept confidential.
