Jack Wolfskin launched a new advertising campaign for end consumers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Aug. 18. The campaign includes a TV spot, which has been available on the campaign's website, draussen-ist-ueberall.com, since Aug. 18 and which was aired for the first time on TV on Aug. 25. Together with its new brand ambassador, the German actor Jürgen Vogel, Jack Wolfskin is touring with a camping bus through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, visiting a total of 15 cities and organizing special retail promotions close to its stores from the end of August to the end of September. On the campaign's website, end consumers are invited to add outdoor destinations to be visited while touring through the German-speaking markets. If selected, they can go to their favorite outdoor destination together with the German actor. The different journeys will be presented on the campaign's website. A second TV spot will be aired mid-October showing the seven selected outdoor journeys with the German actor. About 100-150 consumers will be able to win a ticket for the final event, to be held on Oct. 25. Print advertising is supporting the new campaign, which was developed in cooperation with two communication agencies, Jung von Matt and Intention.
