(Already published in the Asia Outdoor issue) Jack Wolfskin has opened a subsidiary in the Russian market, taking over the staff of its former distributor in Saint Petersburg, Peter Sport. The German outdoor brand already has three stores in the second-largest Russian city and will open another in Moscow before the end of the year. The opening of the subsidiary, which was formally established earlier this week, fits with the brand's plans to seek growth in more international markets. Separately, Jack Wolfskin is moving back into the Swedish market with an exclusive agent, Lars Klingström, who was previously the chief executive of a shop-fitting company.
