ExOfficio is starting to use Marmot Mountain's existing sales network to sell its products to specialty sporting goods and outdoor retailers in Germany, Austria, the U.K., the Benelux, France, Switzerland and Italy from spring/summer 2017. ExOfficio was previously sold mainly to selected clients in those countries like Globetrotter and Larca in Germany and Transa in Switzerland. ExOfficio and Marmot are both owned by Jarden Corporation, which merged into Newell Brands a few months ago. ExOfficio recently entered Central and South America via distributors in Costa Rica, Chile and Peru. All in One distributes the brand in Costa Rica, while Oster de Chile takes care of the distribution in Chile and Peru. ExOfficio recorded a 15 percent increase in the sell-out of its products in the U.S. market in the first half of 2016, as compared to the same period of the previous year. At the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen, ExOfficio presented the first spring/summer collection for its urban travel line, which was launched for the autumn/winter 2016 season.
