Gregory, the brand of backpacks in the Black Diamond group, is quickly expanding in Europe with a strengthened network of agencies and distributors. Most recently, Gregory has moved into Switzerland through the Casoar agency, which can rely on good service and logistics since Gregory's European headquarters is located in Switzerland as well. Casoar is part of the Movement group, which markets its own line of skis under the same name and which distributes brands such as Evolv and 8848 Altitude. For the Norwegian market, Andrea Meerholz, Gregory's European chief, told this publication that the Nordic country has become the third most important market in Europe, just within one year after signing a distribution agreement with XC Sport Equipment. On top of Gregory, it distributes Mountain Equipment, Pieps, Snowpuls and Wild Country in Norway.
