After Marmot Europe and its Swedish distributor Granitbiten from Stockholm parted ways in March, Marmot recently appointed Anders Feuk Westhoff as new sales manager for Sweden and Denmark. From July 1, he will be responsible for business development as well as sales and marketing in the Swedish and Danish markets. He will work out of Marmot’s showroom in Stockholm and report directly to Jan Schapmann, commercial director at Marmot Europe.
The creation of another new position at Marmot, to coordinate the sales activities for the entire Nordic region, is already planned. Feuk Westhoff’s responsibilities will include key account management, expanding customer relationships, acquiring new customers and product trainings. He worked previously as key account manager for the Nordic Agency and the Swedish distributor Roswi, where he was responsible for the international distribution of brands such as Patagonia, Osprey and Scarpa. Before that, he worked as sales manager for Salomon and for the Swedish outdoor retailer Addnature.
Granitbiten has been responsible for Marmot’s Swedish and Danish markets for the past 19 years until mid-March. The Swedish distributor started to work together with Rab and Lowe Alpine, both brands of Equip Outdoor Technologies, in May.
