Adidas’ sales of outdoor products increased by nearly 60 percent in the first quarter of 2021 thanks to the new Terrex collection for fast trail running. Running and training were up by about 20 percent and more than 30 percent, respectively. Excluding Reebok, which is up for sale, Adidas’ sales rose in the quarter by a reported 20.2 percent to €5,268 million, ahead of an analyst consensus of €5,010 million. At constant exchange rates, growth was 27 percent and would have been in the mid-thirties if not for the impact of store lockdowns and supply chain issues. More in SGI Europe.
