After two editions, Sportitaly, the Italian trade show in Bolzano, has come to an end. The fair that was planned for February 2009 has been canceled. A spokesperson of Messe Bozen/Fiera Bolzano told THE COMPASS that the demand for such a show was great on the side of the exhibitors, but too few visitors on the retail level were willing to take advantage of the offer. This past February, around 150 companies representing 250 brands exhibited in Bolzano and welcomed about 3,000 retailers.
