Andrea Ruota has been appointed as the new country manager of The North Face in Italy, replacing Andrea De Lauso. Ruota has worked for Stonefly, a casual footwear company in the Montebelluna region, as export area manager for Southern Europe. He also spent time at Benetton Group as export sales manager in charge of the Spanish market. TNF has also revised its European public relations structure, after the recent resignation of Patrizia Dalla Rosa. Wendy Woo is the new PR manager for the EMEA region and Michela Amendumi is the new PR supervisor for the same region. They are both stationed at VF Corporation’s European office in Lugano, Switzerland. Francesca Nalesso, who worked as EMEA PR coordinator, is now trade marketing coordinator for the Italian market.
