Anzi Besson, the Turin-based skiwear company, has appointed Eduard Kaiser as its international sales manager. Kaiser has switched from Firetrap, a jeanswear firm. Before, Kaiser had served for Lee Jeans, Salomon and North Sails. The appointment of Kaiser completes the management team of the brand after it was acquired by strategic and institutional investors in spring 2008. Anzi Besson is now owned by Besson Sportswear, a firm controlled by Capexit and Rudigier und Partner, both Austrian private equity investors, as well as Wolfgang Krainz. The latter and his partner Christian Jagerhofer have been distributing Besson in Austria. Besson was founded in 1976 by Giuliano Besson and Stefano Anzi, two Italian ski racers. Giuliano Besson continues to assist in management, particularly in ski race sponsoring. Currently, the brand is marketed in more than 15 countries. At this year’s Ispo Winter, Besson will present a line of fashionable sportswear for the first time.
