Arc'teryx has opened its first European showroom in Annecy, France. On 125 square meters, the European sales team will present there not only the collections, but also the brand's solutions for in-store building. It will also host European and regional sales meetings. Company officials say that Annecy was picked not because of its proximity to the operations of its parent, company, Salomon, but because of its proximity to the French-Swiss mountains and the community and industry in the area. Additionally, Eric Schierl, the man behind behind Arc'teryx' White Line collection of skiwear, is located there. Altogether, the Canadian brand continues to have a fairly decentralized operation pattern for the European market with its office in Annecy, marketing in Munich, head office in Zurich (along with the repair service) and a newly created logistics center in Überherrn, Germany, that is not connected with any warehouses of Salomon and other logistical arms of its holding company, Amer Sports.
