Ardica Technologies is recalling 2,600 jackets and vests in the U.S. and Canada. The garments, which work with the Ardica Moshi Power System, are heated, and some electrical connections have been found to overheat, posing the risk of burning to the wearer. The models being recalled are the Ardica Enabled Mountain Hardwear Radiance jackets, Refugium jackets and Sitka Dutch Oven vests. They were sold between August 2009 and February for $230 to $425. Customers should contact Ardica for a full refund.
