Au Vieux Campeur, which still is the major specialized outdoor sports retailer in France, was set to reach a new record for its financial year ended last Sept. 30. According to Sport-Guide, its sales grew by 14.2 million to €111 million in the 11 months through Aug. 30, and they continued to grow in September, particularly on its new e-commerce platform. In the past financial year, the chain achieved 12 percent growth to €126 million.
