Black Diamond Equipment has brought Jeffrey Wammer on board to head up research and development efforts for its ski boots. He comes from END Footwear, where he was director of development, and had previously been vice president for product at Montrail. In addition, Susannah Pratt is the new logistics coordinator; Adam Chamberlain, former brand manager, has been moved up to be vice president for marketing. Chamberlain joined Black Diamond in 2006 from Patagonia. The company also announced that it has signed Barry Blanchard and Paul Robinson to its team of climbing athletes.
