Bluesign, the Swiss company that has developed its own standard for environment, health and safety for entire supply chains, continues to be busy contracting brands and manufacturers that are ready to join the standard. The latest adherent is Deuter, the big German player in backpacks and sleeping bags. Deuter introduced at Ispo its Exosphere line of sleeping bags. Unlike other suppliers, Deuter offers stretchability by 25 percent in width over the whole length of the bag instead of stretchable zones reserved for certain parts of the body such as feet, knees etc.
