Brands and retailers are invited to register for the first edition of the European Outdoor Forum, a new event being held on the lake in Annecy, France, where members of the industry can network and discuss issues important to them. The first night of the event, Oct. 11, will open with a dinner sponsored by Ispo. Held on the floating , restaurant MS Libellule, which will cruise the lake, it will feature as its speaker Paul Petzl, the president of the famous maker of climbing and mountaineering equipment that bears his name. Each of the following two days will include two morning and two afternoon seminars, as well as a lunch held on Oct. 12 by Sporting Goods Intelligence Europe and its sister publication, The Outdoor Industry Compass, and a Performance Days lunch on Oct. 13.
