Cabela’s has appointed Thomas L. Millner to serve as the big U.S. retailer’s new chief executive and president, and as a member of the board, effective April 6. Millner, formerly CEO of Freedom Group, the parent company of Remington Arms Company, will succeed Dennis Highby, who will assume the position of vice chairman of the board.
