CMD Sport reports that the owners of a fast-growing climbing hall in Málaga intend to develop their business through more openings and franchising around Spain. The climbing hall was established about three years ago by the Spanish climber Bernabé Fernández, with his friend Antonio Gámez, another climber and businessman. The concept has apparently worked out, since they reportedly had about 10,000 visitors last year, up 60 percent from 2015, and they anticipate growth of about 40 percent this year. The launch of the Beclimb brand is intended to spread climbing halls offering an array of facilities and services – where customers may learn about climbing, train, socialize, buy their equipment, have a drink and take part in activities, both indoors and outdoor.
