As part of the repositioning of the Woolrich brand, Ranft-Soller Holding is transferring its shares of Woolrich Germany to Woolrich Europe. Ranft-Soller Holding, founded in 2000, is made up of the Munich-based sales agency Komet und Helden, the Gents Multibrand Store in Munich and Woolrich Germany. Komet und Helden had been a sales partner of WP Lavori, at that time licensee of the Woolrich brand, since 2003. In 2016, WP Lavori bought the Woolrich brand and founded Woolrich Europe. The same year, Woolrich Germany was founded by Woolrich Europe and Ranft-Soller Holding in a joint venture, which managed the wholesale business of the brand in Germany and Austria as well as eleven company-owned stores. In 2018, Woolrich Europe was sold to the private equity firm LGAM. In conjunction with the sale of Ranft-Soller Holding’s shares, Henrik Soller, former chief executive, is stepping down. Ranft-Soller Holding will continue to act in an advisory capacity until the deadline of the tansfer of shares.
