Allied Feather & Down has received Nike's award for its outstanding achievement in the Nike Material Sustainability Index (MSI) Premium Supplier Program. According to the award's guidelines, Allied's Nike MSI score showed “a best in class commitment to sustainability for the Fall and Holiday 2017 season.” The Nike MSI calculates relative material scores for each material available to Nike product-creation teams from 1,400 suppliers. Allied Feather & Down has also been honored by VF Corp. with VF's 2015 Supplier of the Year award. Allied helped Textile Exchange and The North Face (TNF), part of VF Corp., develop the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) from the start, and was therefore instrumental in TNF becoming 100 percent RDS certified for 2016 products. Allied has recently announced that all of its water-resistant down will be fluorocarbon-free by 2017.
