Clean Kanteen has committed to reducing its company-wide carbon emissions by joining Climate Neutral's certification program. The independent certification program will verify that the producer of stainless-steel bottles has achieved net-zero carbon emissions with a combination of reductions and offsets. In mid-2020, the bottle maker may begin featuring the Climate Neutral Certified label on its packaging and other materials to show that it is committed to a zero-carbon footprint. Climate Neutral, an independent non-profit organization, is enlisting businesses and consumers to halt the effects of climate change and is setting minimum standards of corporate responsibility for a zero-carbon footprint.
