In the context of World Environment Day, which was organized by the United Nations Environment Program on June 5, Vaude announced that it was able to decrease its overall greenhouse gas emissions by 23 percent in 2012 as compared to the previous year. Since last year, the Vaude headquarters in Tettnang, Germany, and all of the company\'s products are climate-neutral. Serious savings in terms of greenhouse gas emissions were achieved by reducing the number of business trips, printing, commuting and the use of certain materials in the manufacturing process. All remaining emissions are compensated by a payment to a certified project for climate protection run by a non-profit organization called Myclimate.
