Keen Footwear is collaborating with Sherpa Adventure Gear on the Innate LTD project. For every pair of Innate x Sherpa Adventure Gear shoes sold, Keen will donate €15 to Room to Read, a charity focused on literacy and school gender equality in third-world countries. In this case, the funds will go to projects in Nepal, especially its Himalayan regions and the Tarai flatlands. The sale of three or so pairs of Innate x Sherpa Adventure Gear shoes will support lessons in reading and writing for one child, while the sale of 25 pairs will fund a child's secondary schooling for a year. The goal is to teach a thousand children to read and write for one year.
