Keen has been named in the inaugural Rodale 100 in the Environmental category for its 2015 Live Monumental campaign. The Rodale 100 is a list of 100 people, companies, nonprofit organizations and products that are recognized for positively impacting the world on a local, national and/or global scale, through their commitment to the welfare of human beings, animals, and the environment. A jury made of journalists, activists and experts evaluated the nominations based on the principles and vision set forth by J.I. Rodale when he founded the eponymous company. Keen's Live Monumental campaign, which ran from July to September 2015, focused on creating lasting change and rallying support for the designation of five new national monuments - Owyhee Canyonlands, Oregon, Mojave Trails, California, Gold Butte, Nevada, Birthplace of Rivers, West Virginia, and Boulder-White Clouds, Idaho. During nine weeks, the company collected more than 35,000 petition signatures and traveled 7,500 miles across the U.S. to advocate for the permanent protection of more than 3 million acres of public lands in the U.S.
