No outdoor brands were listed on this year's list of the 50 Best Global Green Brands compiled by Interbrand. The only sports brands on the list were Adidas and Nike. Adidas moved up to the 8th place from #14 in the 2013 list. Nike improved its ranking to #29 from #31. As reported in the last issue of SGI Europe, Adidas has announced that it became 90 percent free of PCFs as of June 15 this year and that it wants to be 99 percent PCF-free by no later than Dec. 31, 2017. Adidas has also decided to become a systems partner of Bluesign Technologies.
