Oeko-Tex has announced that 24 new STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) auditors successfully completed their training in Shanghai at the end of June. They can now help interested companies, on site, to assess their sustainable production conditions as part of the STeP by Oeko-Tex certification. These new STeP auditors come from China (including Hong Kong), Bangladesh, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Denmark and Hungary. The 16 Oeko-Tex Institutes, with contact offices in more than 60 countries, can now rely on a total of 80 auditors from different regions of the world.
