Outdoor Research, the U.S. brand of outdoor garment, intends to plant 234 conifer trees in the region of Seattle, Washington, where the company is headquartered. The number of trees offsets the carbon emissions that OR had in 2012. The project is undertaken by Forterra, a non-governmental organization, in the framework of its Carbon Capturing program.
