Starting this season, Pomoca, the Swiss touring skin manufacturer that is part of the South Tyrolean Oberalp Group, reduces its ecological footprint and offers full transparency of its production chain. The brand has completely eliminated environmentally harmful perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals, known as PFCs, from its entire range of skins. At the same time, customers can track their skins’ origin and production chain via the Track your skin website using the product code.
Pomoca has more than 85 years of experience in the development and manufacture of ski touring skins and proudly claims to be the market leader, not only in sales but also in performance: During the last World Ski Mountaineering Championships in March 2019, 40 athletes won a total of 55 medals on skins from the Swiss brand.
The brand offers ten climbing skins, all self-adhesive, for different areas of use in the categories Race, Climb (uphill-oriented) and Free (downhill-oriented).
