The European Outdoor Conservation Association (Eoca), which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, said it has raised and spent €2 million on conservation projects since its inception. To mark this milestone, the association has unveiled a new ambitious plan to plant or regenerate 2 million trees around the world. To date, the association has funded the planting of 640,000 trees. The 2 Million Tree Project is set to be officially launched at the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen on July 13, immediately after the international press conference. Eoca said it has committed funding to support five projects this summer, all of which focus on tree planting and regeneration. The association also offers mechanisms to enable its members, other members of the outdoor industry and the public to help it reach this new ambitious target.
