The Conservation Alliance, a U.S. coalition of like-minded companies that pool their resources to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places, has welcomed 14 new member organizations, adding to its growing list of more than 250 companies committed to conservation. In addition to outdoor-related companies Dometic, MyClimb, Nomadix, Prime Gear Direct, Righteous Felon Jerky Cartel, Rumpl and VSSL, the new members also include 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Amari, Atmos Financial, Bell & the Whistle, Wholesum, Wild Nature and Elevated Independent Energy.
The Alliance said the new, additional partnerships will strengthen it as conservation opportunities grow under the new presidential administration. Since its foundation in 1989, the Conservation Alliance’s funds have helped save more than 30 million hectares of wilderness, protect 5,753 kilometers of rivers, stop or remove 36 dams, designate five marine protected areas and acquire 17 climbing areas.
