Vaude was among six companies nominated for the Boldness in Business Award in the corporate responsibility/environment category. Antje von Dewitz, Vaude's chief executive, was in London for the awards ceremony last month. The prize was awarded by The Financial Times and Arcelor Mittal, the steel and mining company. The nominations were based on more than 300 recommendations by the FT's editorial team for one of the seven categories, including companies from Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
