66° North (66° Norður) has recruited Styrmir Bjartur Karlsson for the new position of international sales director. A native of Iceland, he served as retail consultant for various retail companies in Sweden and will now work for the Icelandic outdoor company. Daniel Niddam left as the company's as export manager last autumn. Karlsson says that his newly created position comprises many more responsibilities than Niddam had, including international marketing and sales support for the retailers. Last year, 66° North's sales reached the equivalent of €35 million.
