As we reported earlier, Sami Kiiski resigned as CEO of Halti, the Finnish manufacturer of ski and outdoor clothing, at the end of July. Halti has now released that Aki Kuusilehto took over the position on Aug. 10. Kuusilehto has long and complex experience in the sporting goods industry. He joined Halti from Patrol, a Finnish wholeseller and distributor of Fischer, Brooks and other sporting goods brands, where he led the sales and marketing teams for more than 20 years and was chief executive for the last 1.5 years.
