As part of a personnel reshuffle ahead of a planned expansion, Polygiene has promoted its chief financial officer, Ulrika Björk, to the position of chief executive, taking over the post from Christian von Uthmann. The former CEO will now fill the position of vice president of new ventures and strategies in Sweden for this supplier of odor control technologies. Björk will retain responsibility for financial control and organizational development. She joined Polygiene as chief financial officer only in May 2017. Before Polygiene, she worked as chief financial officer for Hemmakväll, a Swedish candy and movie rental retailer. Before that, she held various positions in finance and accounting at companies such as Ikea, the Kemira Group and Stena Line. Polygiene supplies odor control technologies for sports and camping brands such as Adidas, Patagonia and Salomon.
