As reported in our previous issue, Knut Are Høgberg has been appointed to take over as new chief executive at Odlo. After his appointment, the Swiss outdoor brand presented a new executive management team consisting of him along with Adrian Schürmann, chief finance officer and Barbara Hösli, chief people officer. The second tier of Odlo's senior management team has been restructured, too. Timo Pape, brand director, remains a member of the senior management team. New members of that team are Christophe Schlenker, commercial operations director, Daniel Mulvie, supply chain management director, Cédric Georges, sales director for Southern Europe and the Benelux countries, Phil Weston, sales director for international markets, and Pascal Schweizer, sales director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. By introducing this new management set-up with three regional sales directors, Odlo wants to transfer more responsibility to a younger generation of managers. Therefore, the role of the current chief sales officer, assumed three years ago by Antoine Sathicq, has been made redundant. The former executive of Adidas and Le Coq Sportif will be leaving the organization. He will stay with Odlo for the next few months, supporting the transition and finalizing important projects.
