Boa Technology has appointed Alois Badegruber to run its sales, marketing and customer service operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, after several years of steady growth in the region. The Austrian manager started off at W.L. Gore Associates and worked for eight years at Salomon, where he was associated with the brand's successful launch of its line of outdoor shoes. Badegruber worked most recently for Puma as head of footwear merchandising for the EMEA. Prior to that, he worked for MBT as director of international product marketing.
