The product development team of Seattle-based Cascade Designs, owner of the Therm-a-Rest, Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Platypus, SealLine and PackTowl brands, has gained two new members with Kalon Pilmanis and Jeff Moberg.
Pilmanis joins the company as senior director of product. He has more than 15 years of experience in the outdoor industry. Most recently, he served as VP of product development and management at Gerber. He also previously worked in product development at various national and global companies.
Moberg joins the team of product line managers, reporting directly to Pilmanis. He comes to Cascade Designs from Wyoming-based outdoor apparel brand Stio. He has also previously worked at well-known manufacturers in the industry such as Oakley, Fanatics and Under Armour.
