Effective July 7, Tony Post, the longtime chief of Vibram's recently expanded U.S. operation, will resign. His successor will be Mike Gionfriddo, who is currently Vibram USA's chief operating officer, with a history of 14 years with the brand. Post has served for the Italian-based company for 11 years, raising Vibram's U.S. sales nearly 50 times over during his tenure. He successfully introduced the FiveFingers collection in the U.S. in 2006. In 2010, the company sold 1.4 million pairs of FiveFingers and was named one of the brands of the year by the publication Footwear News.
