Fjällräven assigned Dean Polic to the position of country manager for Germany at the beginning of this year. He succeeds Lars Ryslev, who is taking the newly created position of head of global sales for Central Europe at Fenix Outdoor, parent company of Fjällräven. Polic, 47, will be leading Fjällräven's German team in Vierkirchen and reporting directly to Tony Kraftling, global sales director at Fjällräven International. Polic previously worked as country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Oase Outdoors. Before that, he held various managing positions at Mammut – for instance, country manager for Germany and the Benelux countries. Within the context of Fenix Outdoors' global expansion, Lars Ryslev will be leading sales in Central Europe. The 55-year-old will be reporting directly to Alex Koska, president of Fenix Outdoor International. Koska and Martin Axelhed remain the chief executives of Fjällräven Germany.
