Hyung-Rae “HR” Cho has been named general manager of Columbia Sportswear's wholly owned Korean subsidiary. Cho, 53, comes from Levi Strauss & Company, where he was general manager for Korea. Previously he held the same position for Gillette and its subsidiary, Braun. He succeeds SR Cho, no relation, who was at the helm of the Korean subsidiary for 25 years.
