During Lenzing’s annual general meeting (AGM), which was held via livestream due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the decision was made not to distribute a dividend for the 2019 financial year (compared to €5 per share in the previous year). The Austrian fiber producer’s AGM also adopted a resolution discharging the members of the management board and the supervisory board for the 2019 financial year, and also decided upon the remuneration to be paid to the supervisory board members. KPMG Austria GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungs- u. Steuerberatungsgesellschaft was appointed to serve as the auditor of the annual and consolidated financial statements for the 2020 financial year.
Felix Fremerey resigned from the supervisory board at his own request. He served on the board and various committees of Lenzing AG since 2018. The AGM elected Melody Harris-Jensbach to serve on the supervisory board until 2023. Harris-Jensbach has been chief executive officer of Jack Wolfskin since 2014, but we reported earlier that she will soon leave the company. The supervisory board mandates of Franz Gasselsberger and Patrick Prügger were extended. The supervisory board elected Peter Edelmann as chairman and Veit Sorger as deputy chairman.
