Matt J. Reintjes has left Vista Outdoor, where he was running the outdoor products division, to become the first professional chief executive of Yeti Coolers, effective Aug. 31. Roy Seiders, who founded the American company with his brother Ryan nine years ago, will remain Yeti's chairman, concentrating on strategy and product development. Reintjes started to work for the outdoor unit of Vista's predecessor, Alliant Techsystems (ATK), just before the completion of its acquisition of the Bushnell group at the end of 2013. He acted first as chief operating officer of Bushnell and then as vice president of the ATK Sporting Group, in charge of accessories. Prior to that, he was president of Danaher, a supplier of medical and industrial equipment.
