Montane has hired a new garment designer, Anna Munton, who previously worked for Tog24, and joined the team three months ago. Joan Bowden, who previously worked for Barbour, joined the British brand as new garment technologist two months ago. Montane is currently recruiting a backpack designer. The climber Andy Kirkpatrick, who is sponsored by Montane for climbing the north face of the Eiger this November and for descending the Denali in Alaska next February, recently joined Montane as product developer. For spring/summer 2015, Montane launched a new sub-brand for trail running, called VIA.
