Schöffel is expanding its top management by adding a chief operating officer to its executive board. In this position, Torsten Müller will oversee production and human resources effective Oct. 1. For the past two years, Müller was in charge of the European logistics and distribution at VF Corporation and based in Belgium. Before that he acted as head of the supply chain at Falke. He will become one of the top three at Schöffel next to Peter Schöffel, managing partner and chief executive, and Hans Hofmann, chief financial officer.
