Shareholders of Conzzeta, the parent company of Mammut Sports Group, will be asked on April 29 to approve the election of two new directors in addition to Ernst Bärtschi, the recently announced candidate for the chairmanship of the Swiss group (see issue 6-19+20 of The Compass, Oct. 16, 2013). The two other candidates for a directorship are Roland Abt, the 56-year-old chief financial officer of the Georg Fischer industrial group, and Urs Riedener, 48-year-old chief executive of Emmi Group in Luzern. The latter's background includes a job as head of marketing at Migros. At the same time, one of Conzzeta's current directors, Thomas Bechtler, is leaving the board after 27 years.
