Lars Adloff took over the newly created position of director of business development at the German bike components and accessories manufacturer Sigma Sport on Jan. 1. Adloff’s main tasks will include supporting national and international OEM customers in the field of drivetrain systems, components and connectivity for e-bikes, as well as identifying and supporting new customers in the e-mobility sector. He will also assume a management function at sales level for the OEM partners in combination with the further development of the sales strategy in this area. The development of new business areas in the broader sense and the screening of new ideas in the environment of e-mobility and the bicycle market also fall within his responsibilities. Adloff has extensive professional experience in sales and development in the sports technology and medical technology sectors. Prior to Sigma Sport, he worked for companies such as Polar Electro and Vitaphone. In his new role, he will report directly to Sigma’s CEO, Thomas Seifert.
