For the first six month of its financial year from January to July, Mammut Sports Group achieved an increase in net sales of 7.5 percent to 91.8 million Swiss francs (75.5m-$98.9m). On a currency-neutral basis and not counting the acquisition of the Snowpulse brand, the rate of increase was 7.6 percent. According to Mammut's parent company, Conzzeta, Mammut managed to grow across all product categories, notably with footwear and equipment deisgned for protection in case of avalanches. While the business continued to be challenging in the Swiss home market due to the strong local currency, Mammut Sports Group had higher sales in almost all European countries – especially in Germany – compared with the first half of the previous year.
