Garmin is concluding the acquisition of its Swedish distributor, Sportmanship International, this month, renaming it Garmin Sweden. Negotiations have gone on since October, when the distribution of portable navigation products, Cannon, Humminbird and Minnkot, was first taken over by Garmin from Sportmanship Invest, the former owner of Sportmanship International. Management and staff at the distributor company have all been kept on. Garmin has now bought up all of its European distributors, except in Norway.
