Gary DeGaetano is the new vice president for direct-to-consumer affairs at Woolrich, overseeing the catalog and internet segment as well as all retail stores for the American company. He was formerly vice president and brand manager for Jessica London/BC Outlet at Redcats USA. The profitable 180-year-old American outdoor apparel company, which declines to provide sales figures, is exploring new collaborations to project a more modern lifestyle image for the brand. Woolrich’s diversification into fashion, which has been successfully implemented by WP Lavori in Corso in Europe, is now being replicated on the Japanese market.
